🌠Forest Healing Festival Volunteer Guide (19–22 March)

As the Forest Healing Festival draws closer, our hearts and hands are fully devoted to preparing a meaningful gathering at Earth Village.

This post serves as a guideline for during-festival volunteers (19–22 March).

This is not simply about offering your time — it is about stepping into a shared rhythm of nature, supporting one another, and being part of something intentionally created with care.

🌿Orientation & Arrival Schedule

Orientation: 19 March at 10:00 AM

All volunteers will begin working in their assigned roles immediately after orientation.

To ensure a relaxed and organized start, we recommend arriving on 18 March to set up your tent or caravan in advance.

🌿 What to Bring

To stay comfortable and prepared, please bring:

  • Your  personal camping gear such as a tent or caravan

  • Comfortable clothing & sturdy shoes suitable for active work

  • Eco-friendly toiletries (shampoo, body wash, etc.)

  • Flashlight

  • Spare power bank for phone charging

  • Personal tumbler or water bottle (A drinking water tank will be available onsite, so please make sure to bring your own bottle.)

🌿 Meals & Festival Environment

  • Volunteers will receive vegetarian meals, supporting collective wellbeing and sustainability.

  • Food trucks will also be available onsite for personal purchases.

  • Earth Village is a kiwi protection area, so pets (including dogs and cats) are not permitted.

Let’s protect the land and the life that calls it home.

🌿 Volunteer Roles & Working Hours

  • Volunteer role assignments are currently being finalized and will be announced soon.

  • Working hours will be approximately 5 hours per day.

  • Meal breaks are not included in working hours.

  • There may be slight variations depending on your assigned area.

We aim to balance contribution and enjoyment so you can both support and experience the festival fully.

🌿 Join Our Volunteer Community

We’ve created a dedicated Facebook group for volunteers where announcements and updates will be shared.

We hope this space becomes a warm and supportive community even before we meet in person.

🌿 Volunteer Benefits

  • Meals provided throughout the festival

  • Opportunity to enjoy and participate in the festival

  • A special Earth Village experience: access to our Carbonated Water Bath & Sauna (Available for volunteers contributing 4 days or more between 14–22 March)

  • An exclusive post-volunteer gathering (April) — a space to reconnect, reflect, and celebrate the journey together

This is more than volunteering — it’s stepping into the rhythm of Earth Village.

🌿 Additional Volunteer Periods

  • 6–8 March | Volunteer Weekend

  • 14–18 March | Pre-Festival Volunteer

  • 23–27 March | Post-Festival Volunteer

Groceries will be provided during Volunteer Weekend (6–8 March), and meals will be provided from 14–27 March.

We truly look forward to the day we gather together.

At Earth Village, let’s embody the values of being Earth Citizens and co-create this festival with intention and heart.

May this shared journey become something meaningful for all of us.
